What is trey griffey?

Trey Griffey is a former American football wide receiver who played college football for the University of Arizona. He is the son of former MLB player Ken Griffey Jr. and the grandson of former MLB player Ken Griffey Sr. Trey played for the Arizona Wildcats from 2012 to 2016, recording 79 receptions for 1,241 yards and six touchdowns during his college career. After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, Griffey signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent but was waived before the start of the season. He also spent time on the practice squads of the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Seattle Seahawks during his brief NFL career. Griffey retired from football in 2019 to pursue a career in coaching.
